U Can't Out Slick A Slicker

A slicker can't be out slicking because he's/she's too slick to be slicking by the slicker. Makes you think, huh? We all know that slick people are witty and the type that have alot of greed. Some aren't smart at all, yet very smart under their dumbness. Still thinking, huh? I bet you are....Let me break it down for you by explaining a not so smart, yet very smart slicker. This slicker is an illiterate fellow who can't read the words that lie in front, dumb right? Go figure. Yet this slicker still got his food and drinks from the markets around. How? No one knows that answer and whether he had cash or not, he didn't have to pay and yet he was never left high and dry. If you don't know by now, I am speaking of  "The Manciple". He's not really a slicker but anyone who gets free food and has more money than others can fall into the category, right? Okay,  moving on.  Greed leads to guilt, guilt leads to sorrow, sorrow leads to death or something like that right? Well this guy is a greedy slicker conniving.  I might add, he is someone who will kill a friend if he knows it would make him rich. Speaking of such a crime let me tell you a tale of a slickster that ironically killed himself for trying to be slick. Okay three guys right searching for a man named "Death" they think he's a traitor for the murders he committed. Spooky yet? No okay anywho the three guys bump into a old man and treats him with no respect at all tradgic I know. Moving on the old man tells them that they will find "Death" under a tree in a grove. They set off when they get to the tree they don't see "Death" the guy they set out to find but yet riches alot to the naked eye. Okay time to introduce the character I'm speaking of it's "The Pardoner". Okay now that you know who it is i speak of i shall continue.... The Pardoner and the two others finds the gold and decide to split it three ways fair enough? "The Pardnor" and one of the guys send out their thrid traveler and devise a plan to kill him when he gets back. Whoa! right? While devising this plan "The Pardoner" devised another to kill over both of them and take the money for himself. Okay the time has come "The Pardoner" attempts is plan when everyone is back by giving them poison in bottles and killing them. But it fails miserably and they all die off poison and greed. Ironic huh? Looking for death and ends up dying. Hmph. Who do you think was death? Ponder that for a minute while I tell you about the final slicker on my list. I will get straight to the point and tell you his name it's "The Reeve", okay now that's out the way lets get started this slicker is a cocky slicker who wors for someone but thinks he's better. "The Reeve" a warrior slickster and very clever this guy takes gifts from his lord just to give them back. How is that clever you might ask ok i will explain. The lord expects gifts or taxes from the village people The Reeve takes the kings stuff and gives it back meaning the lord on gets what he already has. Pretty clever right? That goes to show you that a slicker can't be out slicking.
